Blind Synchronization Method of OFDM Sampling Clock Timing Based on Phase Difference

Aiming at the timing deviation of the sampling clock in the blind synchronization process of the OFDM system, the impact of the sampling timing deviation on the blind demodulation of signal was first analyzed. For the shortcomings of the existing blind synchronization methods, combined with the characteristics of MPSK modulation, a sampling timing blind synchronization algorithm based on phase difference was proposed. The algorithm adopted the phase difference of the demodulated signal, considering the characteristic that the differenced signal is composed of main component and subcomponent, used the main component to identify the signal modulation type, and realized the separation of the two. Based on this, sub-components were used to perform blind estimation and blind synchronization on the sampling timing deviation. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional blind equalization algorithm, this algorithm does not require additional data assistance, has good estimation performance for OFDM signals based on MPSK modulation, and reduced the calculation burden at the same time.
