Study on visible-light photocatalytic performance of CuWO4 modified by boron nitride

The boron nitride modified CuWO4 (BN/CuWO4) composite photocatalytic material was prepared for the first time. The BN/CuWO4 composite material was used to degrade tetracycline (TC) in water, and the results showed that the degradation rate of 20BN/CuWO4 was 81.6%. All photocatalysts were characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR, PL and UV-vis DRS. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of BN/CuWO4 can be attributed to the BN facilitates the separation of photogenerated electrons and holes in CuWO4 and provides more active sites for the reaction.
