LOW-NUTRIENT R2A MEDIUM IN THE ASSESSMENT OF BACTERIOLOGICAL STATUS OF WATER AND OTHER ENVIRONMENTS

The paper examines the problem of application of cultivation methods in microbiological research, especially testing the quality of different aquatic environments. Particular attention is paid to the emergence of low-nutrient R2A medium and its increasing use, given that numerous studies have indicated its superiority compared to other cultivation media, as evidenced by numerous literature data and the author's experience.
