摘要
Currently, the safety performance of LIBs is one of the main concerns and obstacles for consumers. In this work, a high safety and lighter hybrid current collector (named as Al@GTF) has been designed for LIBs cathode. The Al@GTF samples are prepared by metallizing with different Al layers of 200~1500 um on the surface of graphene-like film (GTF) derived from polyimide. The crystal structure and microstructure of the hybrid Al@GTF are charactered by XRD pattern, Raman, FT-IR spectra and SEM image, respectively. Based on the analysis results of areal density, thermal diffusivity, and sheet resistance, the Al@GTF-500 sample with 500 nm Al coated on GTF is considered to be more suitable substitute by replacing the commercial Al foil. Moreover, when assembled as current collector for LFP (LiFePO4) coin-cells, the Al@GTF-500 shows greatly effects on the electrochemical behaviors, such as discharge specific capacity of 155.7, 146.3, 132.3, 112.0 and 82.3 mAh g-1 at 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 C and remaining 86.9 mAh g-1 after 300 cycles. Combining with the smaller areal density/higher thermal diffusivity with the larger specific capacity, higher discharge platform, the Al@GTF-500 is considered as an advanced current collector for LIBs cathode.
