To determine the impact of state-mandated insurance on maternal and neonatal outcomes among patients who used assisted reproductive technology (ART) to conceive. While state-mandated fertility insurance coverage has been shown to impact fertility treatment practices, the association between mandated IVF coverage and birth outcomes is less well-studied.
