Exploring Approaches to Establishing Innovative Radiation Therapy Roles in the United States

Using a team-based approach, health professionals in radiation oncology (RO) work together to provide high-quality patient care and accurate treatment delivery to improve patient outcomes. The radiation therapist (RTT) delivers treatment daily to patients, providing hands-on patient care through multidisciplinary collaboration with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, medical dosimetrists, and nurses.
