Guest Editor’s Bio: I Griveas

Dr. Ioannis Griveas, MD, PhD, is a Consultant Nephrologist and a Greek Army Colonel. He is currently the Medical Director of the Nephrology Department at Athens' 417 Army Share Fund Hospital (NIMTS). Since 2017, he has served as Professor-Advisor at Hellenic Open University, where he focuses on geriatric and diabetic patient education. Dr Ioannis Griveas owns and operates the Private Renal Clinic "Athens-nephrology" in Athens, Greece, and is also the Co-Founder and Medical Director of a modern, high-standard Dialysis Unit in Athens, Greece, called "Polyxenia-Renal." He is also the author of three Renal novels in English. He has over 130 publications in Greek and international journals/books and a distinguished academic career as a lecturer and presenter at international conferences and seminars.
