摘要

•A compact and robust permanent magnet allows microflow NMR relaxometry.•Field homogeneity is improved by tailoring magnetic steel inserts in the bore.•Sub-kg magnet prototype provides 0.5 T uniform field for capillaries up to 1.6 mm ID.•Test flow rate measurements span the range from 0.001 ml/min to 20 ml/min.
