Investigation of optimal energy or density of a fractional CO2 laser system in the treatment of stable non-segmental vitiligo

•The fractional CO2 laser could be effectively and safely used in the treatment of stable NSV.•The optimal parameters of the fractional CO2 laser for treating vitiligo were energy at 60 mJ and density at 8%.•3 months were enough to produce an early and ideal efficacy for stable vitiligo treated by fractional CO2 laser.
