摘要
In-network caching is one of the key features of Named Data Networking (NDN), which has the potential to improve network efficiency and to optimize bandwidth use. Network coding, when combined with in-network caching, allows to reduce the complexity of cache coordination, to enhance resiliency to errors and to use multipath parallel forwarding to improve the throughput gain. While network coding presents some advantages in a benign environment, its performance may fall in the presence of an adversary which generates the pollution attack. In this work, we evaluate and analyze the security level of an optimized authentication model in NDN. We propose upper and lower bounds for different security metrics. We prove that our model outperforms the existing solutions through various simulation tests.
