摘要
•A meta-analysis assessed the prevalence, antibiotic resistance and enterotoxin genes of S. aureus in milk and dairy products.•Subgroup analyses and sensitivity analysis were used to explore the source of heterogeneity.•In raw milk, the prevalence of S. aureus was highest than pasteurized milk and dairy products.•Penicillin presented the highest antimicrobial resistance rates, and sec enterotoxin gene showed the higher prevalence.
