TSSP: A Toolkit to Broaden the Possibilities Transmedia Content Creation

What challenges do designers face when working on different disciplinary backgrounds? Disciplinary integration based on new media design is increasingly flourishing. However, in most projects, due to the differences between disciplines and the time constraints of cooperation, consensus needs to be reached quickly in cooperation for work output, making the consensus communication toolkit particularly important. Can designers do responsible work apart from hardware and software design? This toolkit was initiated in 2018 in the college course of Design of a Digital Lifestyle one, which I presided over, and so far, it has been updated for four versions. The audience has been gradually completed as the progressive structure of students studying in the department of new media students majoring in design - junior designers working in companies. In order to construct a complete teaching system of the school and link it to the talent cultivation for themarket, a toolkit called TSSP was initiated in the context of new media design, aiming to facilitate the integration of different disciplines for fast output of demos. The toolkit is composed of two core stages, personal fabrication laboratory and interaction transition. It broadens the cooperation path of enterprises and accelerates technological iteration, realizing convenient and efficient demo output, test and work output. It thus enables designers of different stages to grasp the relationship between lifestyle design, media and practice, thus realizing clear structures, so as to enhance the matching performance of interaction prototypes. It helps them to get familiar with the solution of design projects from multiple perspectives, including user research, concept design and technical analysis, etc., thus solving part of the lifestyle issues in an in-depth manner. It reflects on our relationship with space, and tries to create methods to design objects and their environment.
