摘要
New technologies are being investigated to increase the efficiency of Vortex Induced Vibrations (VIV) wind generators. The hybridized VIV bladeless turbine is a new system that combines electromagnetic induction and piezoelectric materials to efficiently harvest wind energy. This hybridized system combines the effectiveness of both power generation methods which yields a higher conversion efficiency. However, such systems are only efficient when the wind speed is tuned to their resonant frequency. This paper presents the design of a tuning system for a hybrid piezoelectric-electromagnetic energy harvester. It also investigates the feasibility of this new scheme and analyses its implementation into VIV classical bladeless turbines. Additionally, this paper assesses the efficiency factor and costeffectiveness of the suggested system. Furthermore, a draft cost study of a case study implementation in Morocco is presented.
