Technology use and subjective cognitive concerns in older adults

•Technology use might increase distractibility or forgetfulness in older adults.•However, some evidence suggests technology use might provide cognitive benefit.•We evaluated cognitive concerns and technology use in 219 older adults.•Higher use of digital devices was associated with fewer cognitive concerns.•Implications for the development of technological reserve is discussed.
