摘要
Hydraulic torque converters (HTC) are widely used in automatic transmission. Conventional HTC models mainly focus on physical properties. However, shifting into the transportation intelligence trend, a more precise model of HTC which can fully represent its true response-ability is desired. In this paper, a new safety-oriented simulation model considering the electromechanical property of sensors and their failure model is integrated into an HTC physical mode. Simulation results of this model show that the novel mechatronic HTC model reflects the real working condition of HTCs. Then using this model, a three-level hierarchal control strategy, including signal process, actuator control, and functional safety is designed. At the top level, active and pass safety methods are put forward especially. Analysis results demonstrate that these methods are of significant value in preventing the whole vehicle suffer from further fatal damage or even terminating the fault from happening at the beginning. Finally, high language control codes are generated and integrated into a domestic HTC controller through diverse kinds of development tools, and primary tests prove that this control strategy is effective and its performance is stable.
