摘要
•Ti3C2 MXenes performs as the co-catalysts for direct catalysis on uncoated Ag NPs.•LSPR of uncoated Ag NPs exclusively activates the photocatalytic degradation.•Plasmonic metal-support interaction exists between Ti3C2 MXenes and Ag NPs.•The superior electrical conductivity of Ti3C2 enhances charge transfer processes.•Ag-TiO2-x interfacial Schottky junction helps effective hot carriers’ separation.
