Outcomes of inferonasal glaucoma drainage device surgery in the management of refractory childhood glaucoma

Glaucoma drainage devices (GDDs) are an important treatment for refractory childhood glaucoma. Circumstances such as conjunctival scarring, prior or future anticipated surgery sometimes require inferonasal GDD placement over the preferred superotemporal location. Purpose: to evaluate indications and postoperative outcomes of inferonasal Ahmed and Baervedlt GDDs in pediatric patients.
