摘要
•CaCu3-xTi4-yFex+yO12 solid solutions were synthesized using a solid state method.•Fe2+ ions substitute Cu2+ positions in planar oxygen environment.•Fe3+ ions substitute Ti4+ in symmetrical and distorted octahedral positions.•CaCu3-xTi4-yFex+yO12 (3%) sample demostrates metamagnetic phase transitions.•Unusual magnetism is due to Fe2+ simultaneously with Fe3+ in distorted octahedron.
