摘要

•Chlorine-correlated OD/OH stretch bands are investigated under H ↔ D substitution from 293 to 573 K.•A flexible water structure exists in the Cl− hydration shell.•H ↔ D substitution raises the non-tetrahedral hydrating-water configurations.
