•The adamellite and graniteporphyry were formed at 97 ± 1 Ma and 110 ± 1 Ma, respectively.•The granites belong to highly-fractionated A2-type granite in an extensional setting.•The formation of the A2-type granites was related to the rollback of the Izanagi Plate.
