摘要
We read with great interest the study on muscle biopsies in seronegative myasthenia gravis (MG) by Nagaoka et al. published very recently in the Journal of the Neurological Sciences. The authors aimed to evaluate the diagnostic usefulness of analyzing the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) of seronegative MG (SNMG) patients for complement deposition as well as densities of acetylcholine receptors (AChR) [1]. Furthermore, patient sera were analyzed for presence of clustered AChR-ab as well as MuSK-ab by an established live cell-based assay (L-CBA) [2].
