•Lectin microarray profiling showed detailed glycan compositions of WPC ingredients.•Enriched whey protein concentrate (WPC) ingredient glycosylation differed from WPC.•WPC global glycosylation of a MFGM-enriched WPC was similar to α-lactalbumin-WPC.•N-linked glycans of MFGM-WPC and α-lactalbumin-WPC were equivalent.•WPC ingredient protein profiles did not correlate with global glycosylation.
