SOME ASPECTS OF PERCEPTION IN MUSIC

The aim of current article is not to provide a psychological explanation of human reaction to the music, but rather to follow the idea of music phenomena explanations throughout time. It encompasses three main aspects: human perception, certain music elements, and historical transformations based on the evolution of music theory. These aspects are illustrated through the subjective and objective features of perception. Music elements are described the way they were explained by several remarkable theorists throughout time.
