CQD boosted Pd/TiO2 for enhanced hydrogen evolution via formaldehyde reforming

Carbon quantum dot (CQD) decorated Pd/TiO2 nanocomposites are used as a catalyst for generating H-2 from HCHO solution at room temperature. The introduction of CQDs could activate the C-H bonds of formaldehyde (HCHO), thereby enhancing the catalytic H-2 production performance from the HCHO solution.
