摘要

•First report on green synthesis of Ag@TiO2 nanoparticles from Leucas Aspera.•Plant mediated Ag@TiO2 efficient degradation of picric acid under visible light.•Maximum degradation efficiency on Picric acid within 60 min.•98% photocatalytic degradation was achieved by using Ag@TiO2 NPs.•Photocatalytic activity of Ag@TiO2 on picric acid is higher than that of bare TiO2.
