摘要
•The effect of LbL coatings on the fire resistance of flexible polyurethane foam was investigated.•MB dye adsorption behavior of the coated flexible polyurethane foam was evaluated.•LDH-GOSC4A coatings significantly reduce the amount of PHRR, THR and TSP values.•The PUF/LDH-GOSC4A 9BL foam showed the highest fire resistance.•The maximum adsorption capacity of PUF/LDH-GOSC4A 9BL was obtained 38.46 mg/g.
