摘要
Raman imaging is becoming the standard for characterizing the chemical composition of all types of samples. However, the time it takes to generate highly detailed Raman images can feel interminable. Different fast mapping approaches have developed over the years but remain constrained by the acquisition time per point that must be short for rapid mapping. We propose a new approach to Raman image generation that is suitable for all applications, even those requiring longer acquisition times to produce data with acceptable signal to noise. Using this approach, time improvements of factors of 100x can be easily obtained. Raman image generation of hours or days now turns to minutes and so opens the applications landscape for Raman imaging.
