Comics as a Pedagogical Tool for Teaching

Comics have proved to be a pedagogical strategy for critical development during the training of elementary, high and higher education students. In this way, the research aimed to research and present how comics are used as an educational instrument, analyzing their reflexes in the teaching and learning processes. Using the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Google Scholar databases, in the time frame 2018 to 2022, the selected articles were manually reviewed, and then, the data were treated qualitatively. From the survey, it was observed that most of the articles analyzed address elementary and secondary education, and, in a more subtle way, higher education. It was also observed that most of the analyzed articles work on a specific theme from different disciplines, highlighting the area of chemistry, biology and mathematics, in a contextualized, everyday and playful way.
