摘要

•aPDT with methylene blue and laser promoted greater reduction of viable bacteria and virulence factors, LPS and LTA.•In the conventional endodontic treatment group, there was a reduction of 94.3% of viable bacteria compared to 99% in relation to the aPDT group.•There was a 99.6% reduction in LPS levels in the aPDT group.
