•Hypofractionated SRT is an efficient treatment for vestibular schwannomas.•Doses and fraction schedules are yet to be well defined.•We used higher doses and observed higher nerve toxicities and lower control rates.•We identified dosimetric predictive factors for radiation-induced facial nerve palsy.
