Does improved indoor air quality lead to better asthma control?
Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology(2023)
摘要
The use of environmental control as an intervention for respiratory conditions such as asthma is the underlying tenant of the allergy profession. The allergy model goes like this: A patient with a respiratory condition is seen by an allergist who attempts to identify environmental triggers for the condition using a combination of history and allergy testing. Once the likely triggers are identified, the patient is instructed to reduce exposure to them to an extent that is feasible. The hope is that this approach, along with medical management, will lead to reduced symptoms and better disease control.
