摘要
This paper aims to compare and analyze construction practitioners' perceptions concerning the influence of project delivery methods (PDMs) and procurement methods (PMs) on various project outcomes, including team chemistry, construction quality, construction productivity, change orders, and overall project success. Using a convenience sampling survey, the research team received 94 responses from industry practitioners. Findings indicated that industry practitioners consider both PDM and PM to contribute significantly to overall construction success, indicating the need for further research regarding the interplay relationship between them. Few studies have examined the combined effects of PDMs and PMs, instead opting to keep one of the variables constant. The findings suggest that the industry lacks precise knowledge of contributions and limitations of the various PDMs and PMs, which warrants further research and highlights the need to develop and disseminate educational materials on the topic.
