摘要
Online security assessment helps operating engineers defend power systems. Contingency analysis is one of the most significant ways to forecast power system conditions if an unexpected event occurs. First, the operator must undertake a load flow analysis on the system to determine each bus’s voltage, power, and angle and Newton Raphson’s technique offers correct findings quickly. In the presented work, 5MW capacity charging stations are placed appropriately at the load buses of the proposed bus system. In the MATLAB/MATPOWER environment, all line outage contingencies in an IEEE 24-bus power system were modeled. With the help of a Weak Bus Placement method, proper siting and sizing of Distributed Generators are done in the system to overcome the losses. For each line outage scenario, the active power and voltage performance index have been determined. These two-performance indexes show how t-line outages affect active power flow and bus voltages. The sum of these two indexes will be used to rank lines by severity. From load flow results, low- and high-rank line outage contingencies were compared. This contingency analysis lets the operational engineer determine which line interruption is dangerous to the system and what to do to minimize its impact.
