Optimization of Stator Structure of Traveling Wave Hollow Ultrasonic Motor

In this paper, the relationship between the stator structure parameters of the traveling wave motor and the electromechanical conversion efficiency of the traveling wave motor is studied, and the original structure is optimized in order to obtain a motor stator with higher electromechanical conversion efficiency, thereby supporting the improvement of the efficiency of the ultrasonic motor. The motor stator size is optimized through finite element simulation, and the prototype is processed for comparative experiments. The experimental results show that: 1) The ratio of the electromechanical conversion efficiency of the original stator to the optimized stator is 96.28%, and the optimized stator has a higher electromechanical conversion efficiency than the original stator; 2) Under the excitation voltage of 400Vpp, the maximum efficiency of the prototype is 12.7%, and the maximum efficiency of the prototype of the optimized stator is 25.7%, and the optimized prototype is more efficient than the original prototype.
