Organelles are membrane-lined structures that compartmentalize subcellular biochemical functions. Therefore, interorganelle communication is crucial for cellular responses that require the coordination of such functions. Multiple prin-known; however, mounting evidence indicates that other organelles also have something to say in the pathophysiological conversation.
