Fuzzy Controller Based Transformer Less CHB Inverter for Grid Connected PV Systems

The plan of a 3-phase transformer less cascaded H bridge (CHB) converter with fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is presented in this paper. Among the conventional multi-level inverter (MLI) topologies CHB obtaining huge popularity because of its intrinsic features best suitable for high-power applications. Solar- Pvenergy is integrated with the grid to provide quality power and reach the power demand. Produce higher multi-level output voltage separate DC link lower voltage sources are needed. Multiple PV sources are treated as low voltage sources to the CHB converter. These lower voltage sources are diminishing the voltage stress on the appliances. The challenging task to design CHB converters is because of the presence of multiple low voltage (PV) sources, which can generate additional passages for leakage current. The prime focus of this article is to lessen the leakage current at the source side with the proposed fuzzy logic controller. The proposed transformer-less converter topology is composed of six switches in each phase and possesses the feature of both dc and ac bypass circuit features. To operate switches accurately a novel fuzzy-based modulation control technique. It is dependent on a sine triangle PWM procedure paired by means of allocated logic functions, and it was developed for the suggested topology. The switching pulses generated by the allocated logic functions control all inverter switches, establishing common-mode voltage (CMV) fluctuation remains stationary through the inverter's performance. As a result, the inverter's leakage current is decreased throughout its operation.
