摘要

•A novel Cu-MOF was synthesized successfully using a facile route.•Cu-MOF exhibit high selectivity for H2S in presence of competing ions.•Cu-MOF showed high sensitivity towards H2S with a detection limit of 2.2 µM having good fluorescence stability.•Turn off fluorescence response with quenching efficiency of Cu-MOF on addition of H2S was observed in less than 2 min.
