摘要

•Single crystals of LnRuO3, Ln2Ru2O7, Ln2RuO5(OH), and Ln5Ru2O12 were grown hydrothermally.•Crystal formation depended on reaction stoichiometry and lanthanide size.•Crystallographic data were obtained correlating bond lengths and bond valence sums to the Ru oxidation states.•Structure refinements indicated a large number of the materials exhibited little or no site disorder.
