摘要
•A series of fire experiments were carried out in a reduced-scale T-shaped tunnel.•Smoke temperature and critical ventilation velocity were analyzed and identified.•Effect mechanism of longitudinal fire location on critical velocity was revealed.•An empirical correlation of critical velocity for T-shaped tunnel fire was proposed.
