Effect of regrowth age, region, and harvest season on chemical and color parameters of Moringa oleifera from Brazil

•The seasonality, regrowth age, and growing region of M oleifera influenced the chemical composition.•Samples collected in the South region presented higher content of protein and potassium.•The content of fibers was higher in samples from the Southeast.•Samples collected in the Northeast showed high Mg, Mn, and Na content.•Temperature and radiation influenced the nutritional quality of M. oleifera.
