Improvement of the anti-tyrosinase activities by a combination of herb extractions and removing its tannin content as potential use in whitening cosmetics

•The anti-tyrosinase activities and components of PG, SS, CS extracts was measured.•PG, SS, and CS were combined in different methods for anti-tyrosinase activities.•A combination of PG and SS shows good anti-tyrosinase activity with IC50 of 172 µg/mL.•The conditions for removing tannins in extracts by collagen was determined.•The tannins removal combined extracts are a raw material of cosmeceutical industry.
