摘要

•Hierarchically porous PVP/ZIF-8 is synthesized by PVP-induced defect formation.•It is first attempt to prepare PVP/ZIF-8 with supercritical CO2 as green solvent.•The PVP dosage, temperature and pressure can tune the pore structure of PVP/ZIF-8.•The adsorption capacity of PVP/ZIF-8 can reach up to 2.02 mmol CO2/g sorbent.
