摘要
•Contralateral great saphenous vein (cGSV) is traditionally used as a bypass conduit in the setting of lower extremity arterial injury.•Ipsilateral GSV (iGSV) is a conduit option in cases of trauma to the contralateral side, easier accessibility, and surgeon preference.•Outcomes for iGSV versus cGSV are comparable in terms of 1-year major amputation, ambulatory status, and 1-year and 3-year primary patency rates.
