Therapeutical effect alkaloids extracted from Melia azedarach on different cell lines and on vivo induced tumor in white mice

This research was designed to study the effect of alkaloids extract Melia azedrach of leaves in vivo and in vitro on the other hand Alkaloids. This study revealed that toxic extracts in used concentration 62.5,125,250,500,1000,2000,4000 µg\ml from alkaloids in MCF7 cell line and AMJ13 and normal WRL68 cell line. The result showed that depend the concentration and time for all cell line and MCF7 cell line the concentration 4000 µg\ml the pest of effect with significant (P<0.05) the growth 75.08%in 24 h and 67.75% in AMJ13 in 24h. and 59.99% in WRL68 in 24h. Therapeutic effect of alkaloids was studied in tumor-bearing mice after (I.P) administration of alkaloids extract at concentrations (mg/kg) for 30 days alternatively reduce the size of tumor because Anti-angiogenesis lead to nicrosis and apoptosis. The result showLD50 for alkaloids 98 ml\kg. The results revealed significant reduction in the tumor volume weather in those treated with watery extract 87 %, for alkaloids at the dose of 0.8 mg/kg. and study apoptosis in tissue miceThe results a positive effect of the alkaloid on the rate of cells that suffered programmed death. For all the doses used significantly (P <005) from control, the doses were (0.8, 0.4,0.2) mg / kg and the percentage of cells that suffered death was Programmed cellular data (26.86), 28.06, and 28.53%, respectively.
