摘要
In crowded areas, several potential risks and accident scenarios should be evaluated, followed by proper emergency plans preparation. These plans include radiation emergencies in which population monitoring em-phasizes the identification, screening, measurement, and monitoring of populations for exposure to radiation or contamination from potential radioactive sources. The risk monitoring includes decontamination process for people evacuated due to a large-scale radiation accident. This paper proposed a framework that enables digital monitoring for a potential radiological accident in a crowded area and tracks the involved individuals' move-ment. This proposed system aims to mitigate the hazards arising from the spread of radiation contamination during potential accident scenarios. The suggested framework of digital monitoring of radiological risks (DMRR) consists of four subsystems: mobile radiation detectors, radiological impact assessment, navigation and tracking systems, and emergency procedures application. It is proposed that a mobile application could be supplied with a feature that can track potential risks due to radiation contamination incidents. This system will help to identify the affected group of people in a potential radiological accident and eases the activation of the emergency plans in the contaminated area.
