摘要
Prolonged stress exposure has been associated with elevations in peripheral inflammation and blunted activity in corticostriatal reward networks. These mechanisms are theorized to contribute to manifestations of motivational anhedonia. However, few studies have examined the relationship between perceived stress, peripheral inflammation, and measures of motivational anhedonia in the same individuals. Here, we present novel findings from a recently completed clinical trial (NCT03006393).
