Solution of the Integro-Differential Equations related to Computational electromagnetics using Haar Wavelets

The purpose of this paper is to implement a straightforward numerical approach on the basis of the Haar wavelet operational matrix for the aim of solving Integro-Differential equations related to electromagnetics which include very popular equations like Poisson’s equation, Laplace equation etc. The wavelets have been used to solve the above mentioned equations whose applications in engineering include finding the electric field potential in parallel plate capacitor both in one and two dimensions. The paper presents developing the Haar wavelet method for solving these Integro-Differential equations and comparing it with the exact solution and comparing the solutions on the basis of error produced which was found to have an accuracy of about 99%.
