Combined experimental and TD-DFT study of a highly sensitive AIE-based probe for the detection of water in organic solvents and its application in inkless writing

The present article highlights a pyrene-based probe for the detection of water in various organic solvents. It also gives an insight into DFT and TD-DFT calculations and can be applied for inkless writing and reusable paper strips.
