摘要
We have read with interest the recent article in Journal of Clinical Neuroscience by Nabizadeh et al. [ [1] Nabizadeh F. Masrouri S. Sharifkazemi H. Azami M. Nikfarjam M. Moghadasi A.N. The authors concluded that autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) could be an alternative therapy for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) in severe cases instead of conventional immunotherapies. We applaud the authors' effort as the exact effectiveness and safety of AHSCT in treatment of NMOSD is largely unknown. The meta-analysis generally well prepared, however, some methodological issues need address in order to further improve the quality and readability of the paper. We shared our point of view about this valuable work as follows.
