Using Ultrasound to Diagnose High-Grade AV Block: A Visual Case Study

Despite the multiplicity of data in the literature concerning hand and finger injuries, daily experience shows that the lack of knowledge of these injuries leads to the indication of inappropriate treatments that result in functional sequelae. The metacarpophalangeal dislocation (MCP) of the thumb is defined by the permanent and total loss of contact between the head of the 1st metacarpal and the base of the 1st phalanx of the thumb and can be dorsal or palmar much rarer. The objective of our work is to insist on the rarity of the palmar form of the MCP dislocation of the thumb as well as its therapeutic and evolutionary particularities, in particular by its irreducibility in front of the traction which is indicated in the majority of the dislocations.
